New Jersey Closings
OUR PROCESS FOR GETTING YOU INTO CONTRACT
New Jersey law requires any real estate contract prepared by your real estate agent to have an “attorney review” provision. The “attorney review” provision gives your attorney the legal right to cancel the real estate contract you just signed.
And so, it’s essential to get into and out of the “attorney review” period as quickly as possible to ensure the parties have an enforceable real estate contract, which is why we developed a 4-step process for getting clients into and out of attorney review as fast and efficiently as possible.
Step 1
Fill out our custom online application to generate your contract rider. No more playing phone and email tag with your lawyer to get your contract rider started.
Step 2
Consult with a lawyer, from our team, who will answer all of your questions and make any needed changes before sending your proposed contract to the other side.
Step 3
We negotiate and finalize your contract rider. We discuss and explain the risks of any changes that are made to the contract and rider.
Step 4
Sign your rider and exit attorney review. CONGRATS! You are now under contract.
We’re different than other law firms. Real estate law isn’t just one of our practices, it’s our main focus. And so we’ve built a system from the ground up to make the real estate buying or selling process as hassle- and worry-free as possible for our clients. Every client gets access to the following services:
Client Portal
As a client, you get access to our proprietary Client Resource Center, which contains articles, FAQs, and videos about every aspect of your transaction. You can engage with the content on your schedule through our custom-built Client Portal.
ClosingsIQ
The Client Portal is your deal command center, but we continue to engage our clients through more traditional methods, such as text and email, through our proprietary “ClosingsIQ” system, which keeps you informed about next steps and important deadlines, so you know what to expect and nothing falls through the cracks.
Attorney Consultations
Our attorneys regularly check in with clients throughout the transaction during scheduled one-on-one consultations to answer any client questions directly. And our team is always available if an issue arises or a client has a question they need answered.
